IAED-Gazi University IP Project: Port Cities

IAED was a partner and host of the Lifelong Learning Program Intensive Project this year, coordinated by Gazi University, Architecture Department. Instructors and students from 6 European Universities as well as participants from IAED and Gazi ran parallel design sessions regarding the EXPO site in İnciraltı, İzmir.

Things went well, with everyone making new friends and colleagues, and establishing new Erasmus partnerships. The workshop took place between 24th of June-5th July 2013. The event ended with presentations and an exhibition of all groups' works.

I thank all IAED students, research assistants, and instructors who hosted the event, and contributed to the project in the best way. Many thanks goes to Gazi University, project coordinator Dr. Fulya Özmen for bringing the project to us in the first place. It was a great experience for all of us.
